QuickBooks recurring transactions are mixed in with things that don't make sense. In QuickBooks, all Recurring Transactions are mixed in with other recurring transactions like Bills, Checks, and General Journal Entries.
When you receive a payment, you must report it in QuickBooks so that the invoice is marked as paid. Otherwise, invoices would appear on your files as open and unpaid. Follow the steps below to record the payment the way you want: Initially, select the + New button >> Receive Payment Next, choose the customer name from the Customer Dropdown
If you created an invoice in QuickBooks Online to record a sale to a customer, at some point you expect to receive payment from your customer for that invoice. Receiving payments is only necessary if you have an open invoice to apply the payment to.
Invoicing is an area of QuickBooks® Online (QBO) that doesn’t always get direct attention from accountant users. After all, your clients are likely entering the invoices and you are verifying everything that happens after.
How can I change the status of an Invoice from paid to unpaid in QuickBooks Online? For this purpose, first of all, click Invoicing from the left menu and choose invoices. Now click on View/edit to open the invoiced transaction. Click 1 payment link and date hyperlink under the payment status.
