The most common Kailh Choc low profile switches are red, brown and white that require an actuation force of 50gf. Red is a Linear switch, Brown is Tactile and White is the Clicky one.
The keyboard comes with Kailh PG1350 Low Profile Blue Switch which is a clicky switch and requires an activation force of 45g. This low profile keyboard is only 0.89 inches thick which is around 25% thinner than a traditional mechanical keyboard. The keyboard is great for typing because of blue switches you will get tactile and clicky feedback.
Low-profile switches overall are about 2/3 the height of regular switches. Overall the housings of the main low-profile switches are just smaller variants of their most popular normal switches.
Determining if Kailh switches are good depends mostly on the user and what their preferences are, but I would say they are decent, with a big exception. Kailh switches are generally known to be scratchy, which makes them not the best for those who like tactile or linear switches. However, clicky switches are really well done by Kailh.
